This is the repair rebuild, you change out 1 disk then repair the RAID. You do this for each disk until you have all of them replaced, it is very time consuming and at each step along the way you have a change of loosing integrity or the entire RAID. I know you can do this with 1,5,and 6 although it is not generally recommended. Here is a link that has a step by step from Synology, note the lack of 10 mentioned.
